September 9, 2024: Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006 Lower Moreland Lions (Huntingdon Valley, PA) boosters exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Franklin Towne Warriors (Philadelphia, PA), 6-3 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Lower Moreland moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to New Hope-Solebury (New Hope, PA) to clash with the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Lions come into the test with a record of 4-1. New Hope-Solebury won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Upper Moreland (Willow Grove, PA)
The Warriors now sport a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Swenson Arts & Tech for a non-league test on Wednesday, September 11. Franklin Towne will clash with a Lion team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to George Washington (Philadelphia, PA). The Lion record now stands at 0-1.
