September 9, 2024: Hickory, NC 28601 The South Caldwell Spartans soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Hickory Christian Academy Knights to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Monday.
The Spartans now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 11. South Caldwell will play a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Watauga (Boone, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Hickory Christian Academy moves to 1-7 on the year. The Knights travel to Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC) to play the Vikings in a Foothills Athletic bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Salem Baptist Christian lost 9-0 in their recent league bout against Davidson Day (Davidson, NC)
