Statesville Christian Lions (Statesville, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Monday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Veritas Christian Academy Warriors (Arden, NC), 5-3 in a non-league test.

With the triumph, Statesville Christian advances its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Lions host Davidson Day (Davidson, NC) to clash with the Patriots in a Foothills Athletic test on Tuesday, September 10. The Patriots come into the test with a record of 4-4. Davidson Day won 9-0 in their recent league test against Salem Baptist Christian (Winston-Salem, NC)
