Georgia High School Softball - Perry bounces Academy for Classical Education
September 9, 2024: Perry, GA 31069 The Perry Panthers softball team scored 11 runs and held the visiting Academy for Classical Education Gryphons to 2 in the Panthers non-league win on Monday.
The Panthers now sport a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ware County for a 4A Region 1 battle on Tuesday, September 17. Perry will confront a Gators team coming off a 14-2 league win over Warner Robins (Warner Robins, GA). The Gators record now stands at 3-10.
With the loss, Academy for Classical Education moves to 10-4 on the season. The Gryphons host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to confront the Golden Hawks in a 1A D-I Region 2 battle on Tuesday, September 10. The Golden Hawks come into the battle with a record of 11-3. Washington County won 17-2 in their recent league battle against Southwest (Macon, GA)
