September 9, 2024: Newbern, TN 38059 The Dyer County Choctaws (Newbern, TN) volleyball knocked off the visiting Jackson Christian Eagles (Jackson, TN), 3-0 in Monday's non-league bout.
The Choctaws now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Westview for a AA District 13 bout on Tuesday, September 10. Dyer County will clash with a Chargers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to South Gibson (Medina, TN). The Chargers record now stands at 0-6.
With the loss, Jackson Christian drops to 1-6 on the campaign. The Eagles host Tipton-Rosemark Academy (Millington, TN) to clash with the Rebels in a D II-A West 5 bout on Tuesday, September 10. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 7-3. Tipton-Rosemark Academy won 3-2 in their recent league bout against Fayette Academy (Somerville, TN)
