September 9, 2024: Freehold, NJ 07728 Freehold Boro Colonials (Freehold, NJ) boosters left the game satisfied Monday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the visiting St. Rose Purple Roses (Belmar, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Freehold Boro improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Colonials travel to Toms River East (Toms River, NJ) to face the Raiders in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 10. The Raiders go into the test with a record of 2-1. Toms River East won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Middletown North (Middletown, NJ)
The Purple Roses now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Red Bank Regional for a Shore B - North test on Tuesday, September 10. St. Rose will face a Bucs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Middletown North (Middletown, NJ). The Bucs record now stands at 0-1.
