September 9, 2025: Southbury, CT 06488 Pomperaug Panthers (Southbury, CT) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the visiting Immaculate Mustangs (Danbury, CT), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Pomperaug moves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to New Milford (New Milford, CT) to clash with the Green Wave in a Southwest - Colonial test on Thursday, September 11. The Green Wave come into the test with a record of 0-0.
The Mustangs now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host Notre Dame Prep for a Southwest - Patriot test on Thursday, September 11. Immaculate will clash with a Lancers team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Lancers record now stands at 2-1.
