New York High School Soccer - John Jay knocks off Roosevelt
September 9, 2025: Brooklyn, NY 11204 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the visiting John Jay Wolves soccer squad scored a nice 9-0 victory over the Roosevelt Cougars.
The Wolves (2-1) will now prepare for their outing against Madison (Brooklyn, NY). The Golden Knights go into the non-league outing with a 1-1 record. In their last outing, Madison was overwhelmed by Midwood (Brooklyn, NY), 2-1, in a non-league outing.
Next up, the Cougars clash with the Saugerties Sawyers (Saugerties, NY) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 10. Roosevelt will attempt to advance on its 1-2 season record. The Sawyers come into the test with a 1-2 record after their 3-0 league loss to Wallkill (Wallkill, NY).
