Tennessee High School Soccer - Rhea County nudges Oak Ridge
September 9, 2025: Oak Ridge, TN 37830 In Tuesday's non-league test, the visiting Rhea County Golden Eagles soccer team scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Oak Ridge Wildcats.
With the victory, Rhea County improves its record to 5-1 on the year. The Golden Eagles host East Hamilton (Ooltewah, TN) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. The Hurricanes go into the bout with a record of 2-5. East Hamilton won 4-0 in their recent non-league bout against Howard Tech (Chattanooga, TN)
With the loss, Oak Ridge moves to 3-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Science Hill (Johnson City, TN) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11.
