North Carolina High School Soccer - South Iredell toppled by Sun Valley
September 9, 2025: Monroe, NC 28110 Sun Valley Spartans (Monroe, NC) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting South Iredell Vikings (Statesville, NC), 6-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Sun Valley moves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Spartans host Forestview (Gastonia, NC) to clash with the Jaguars in a non-league test on Wednesday, September 10. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 2-0. Forestview won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Jay M. Robinson (Concord, NC)
The Vikings now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Alexander Central for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. South Iredell will confront a Cougars squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 0-7.
