California High School Volleyball - Torres can't get by Golden Valley
September 9, 2025: Merced, CA 95341 Golden Valley Cougars (Merced, CA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Torres Toros (Madera, CA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Turlock Christian (Turlock, CA). The Eagles come into the non-league challenge with a 1-7 record. In their last challenge, Turlock Christian edged Vanguard College Prep (Modesto, CA), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Toros play the Dos Palos Broncos (Dos Palos, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Torres will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
