With the triumph, Cape Hatteras moves its record to 2-1 on the campaign. The Hurricanes travel to Gates County (Gatesville, NC) to clash with the Red Barons in a non-league test on Thursday, September 11. The Red Barons go into the outing with a record of 6-1. Gates County won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against North East Carolina Prep (Tarboro, NC)
Next up, the Eagles confront the Camden County Bruins (Camden, NC) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 11. Northeastern will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Bruins go into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 8-0 non-league win over Pasquotank County (Elizabeth City, NC).
