New York High School Soccer - Cortland toppled by Christian Brothers Academy
September 9, 2025: Cortland, NY 13045 Christian Brothers Academy Brothers (Syracuse, NY) boosters exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad prevail over the host Cortland Purple Tigers (Cortland, NY), 4-0 in a non-league outing.
The Brothers (4-1) will now prepare for their outing against Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY). The Little Irish go into the non-league outing with a 2-3 record. In their last outing, Aquinas Institute by Brighton (Rochester, NY), 3-0, in a non-league test.
The Purple Tigers now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Phoenix for a non-league test on Thursday, September 11.
