Kentucky High School Soccer - Nelson County toppled by Larue County
September 9, 2025: Hodgenville, KY 42748 Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Nelson County Cardinals (Bardstown, KY), 8-1 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, Larue County advances its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Hawks host Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to play the Scotties in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. The Scotties go into the outing with a record of 5-6. Glasgow won 10-2 in their recent league outing against Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Atherton Ravens (Louisville, KY) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 11. Nelson County will attempt to improve on its 4-4 season record. The Ravens go into the outing with a 5-5 record after their 5-0 non-league loss to Moore (Louisville, KY).
