September 9, 2025: Vandalia, IL 62471 The Litchfield Purple Panthers (Litchfield, IL) soccer overwhelmed the host Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL), 9-0 in Tuesday's league challenge.
The Purple Panthers (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Pana (Pana, IL). The Panthers enter the South Central battle with a 1-5 record. In their last battle, Pana was overwhelmed by Athens/Greenview/Illini Central (Athens, IL), 7-2, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Vandals battle the Greenville Comets (Greenville, IL) in a South Central battle, on Thursday, September 11. Vandalia will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record. The Comets enter the battle with a 0-8 record after their 5-0 league loss to Staunton (Staunton, IL).
