September 9, 2025: Sterling, IL 61081 Fans at Tuesday's league battle between the Moline Maroons (Moline, IL) and the host Sterling Golden Warriors (Sterling, IL), saw Moline's soccer squad triumph over Sterling by a count of 9-0.
The Maroons (3-3) will now prepare for their match against Bradley-Bourbonnais (Bradley, IL). The Boilermakers come into the non-league match with a 7-3 record. In their last match, Bradley-Bourbonnais toppled Kankakee (Kankakee, IL), 1-0, in a non-league match.
The Golden Warriors now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Guilford for a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. Sterling will meet a Vikings team coming off a 9-0 league win over Rockford Auburn (Rockford, IL). The Vikings record now stands at 3-1.
