Illinois High School Soccer - Richwoods toppled by Normal West
September 9, 2025: Normal, IL 61761 Normal West Wildcats (Normal, IL) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team beat the visiting Richwoods Knights (Peoria, IL), 5-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Normal West moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Champaign Central (Champaign, IL) to clash with the Maroons in a Big Twelve test on Thursday, September 11. The Maroons come into the test with a record of 3-4. Champaign Central 0-0 in their recent league outing against Danville (Danville, IL)
Next up, the Knights confront the Morton Potters (Morton, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Richwoods will attempt to improve on its 7-3 season record. The Potters go into the outing with a 5-1 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Geneseo (Geneseo, IL).
