Michigan High School Soccer - Sexton knocks off Olivet
September 9, 2025: Lansing, MI 48915 The Sexton Big Reds soccer squad scored 9 points and held the visiting Olivet Eagles to 1 in the Big Reds league victory on Tuesday.
The Big Reds now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host St. Johns for a non-league bout on Wednesday, September 10. Sexton will play a Redwings squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Holt (Holt, MI). The Redwings record now stands at 3-4.
With the loss, Olivet moves to 0-8 on the year. The Eagles travel to Jonesville (Jonesville, MI) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Thursday, September 11. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Jonesville won 1-0 in their recent non-league bout against Manchester (Manchester, MI)
