South Knox Spartans (Vincennes, IN) backers went home in high spirits Tuesday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Pike Central Chargers (Petersburg, IN), 3-0 in a non-league outing.

The Spartans (3-2) will now prepare for their outing against Shoals (Shoals, IN). The Jug Rox go into the Blue Chip outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, Shoals by Barr-Reeve (Montgomery, IN), 4-0, in a league outing.

Next up, the Chargers play the North Posey Vikings (Poseyville, IN) in a Pocket outing, on Thursday, September 11. Pike Central will attempt to improve on its 6-4 season record. The Vikings go into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 2-1 league win over Boonville (Boonville, IN).
