September 9, 2025: Stayton, OR 97383 The Stayton Eagles soccer squad scored 5 points and held the visiting Seaside Seagulls to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they host Tillamook for a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. Stayton will face a Cheesemakers team coming off a 5-3 non-league loss to The Dalles (The Dalles, OR). The Cheesemakers record now stands at 1-1.
The Seagulls (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Gladstone (Gladstone, OR). The Gladiators come into the non-league game with a 2-0 record. In their last game, Gladstone edged Baker/Powder Valley (Baker City, OR), 1-0, in a non-league bout.
