Georgia High School Volleyball - Alcovy Eastside
September 9, 2025: Covington, GA 30014 Eastside Eagles (Covington, GA) followers left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Alcovy Tigers (Covington, GA), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Eastside advances its record to 7-15 on the season. The Eagles travel to North Oconee (Bogart, GA) to face the Titans in a 4A Area 8 test on Thursday, September 11. The Titans go into the test with a record of 18-6. North Oconee won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Oconee County (Watkinsville, GA)
The Tigers now have a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Habersham Central for a 5A Area 8 challenge on Thursday, September 11. Alcovy will play a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over West Hall (Oakwood, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 15-3.
