September 9, 2025: Gonzales, LA 70737 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Riverside Academy Rebels (Reserve, LA) and the host Ascension Christian (Gonzales, LA), observed Riverside Academy's volleyball team top Ascension Christian by a count of 3-0.
The Rebels (3-4) will now prepare for their contest against Central Lafourche (Raceland, LA). The Trojans enter the non-league contest with a 2-3 record. In their last test, Central Lafourche was defeated by Central Catholic (Morgan City, LA), 3-0, in a non-league outing.
With the loss, Ascension Christian drops to 0-3 on the campaign. The host Central Private (Baker, LA) to play the Redhawks in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. The Redhawks come into the outing with a record of 1-0.
