In Tuesday's non-league match, the Mt. Vernon Marauders (Fortville, IN) volleyball team knocked off the visiting Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory Braves (Indianapolis, IN), by a margin of 3-1.

The Marauders now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they travel to Yorktown for a Hoosier Heritage bout on Thursday, September 11. Mt. Vernon will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Hamilton Southeastern (Fishers, IN). The Tigers record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory drops to 4-8 on the campaign. The Braves host Guerin Catholic (Noblesville, IN) to encounter the Golden Eagles in a Circle City battle on Friday, September 12. The Golden Eagles go into the battle with a record of 8-3.
