Illinois High School Volleyball - Walther Christian Academy tips Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family
September 9, 2025: Downers Grove, IL 60532 In Tuesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Walther Christian Academy Broncos volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family .
The Broncos (9-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Christ the King (Chicago, IL). The Gladiators enter the Chicago Prep challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Christ the King was tipped by Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the face the Westmont Sentinels (Westmont, IL) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, September 10. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Sentinels go into the test with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to St. Edward (Elgin, IL).
