The Merritt Island Mustangs (Merritt Island, FL) volleyball knocked off the host Cocoa Beach Minutemen (Cocoa Beach, FL), 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league bout.

The Mustangs now possess a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest for a non-league bout on Friday, September 12. Merritt Island will clash with a Eagles team coming off a 3-2 non-league loss to Ransom Everglades (Miami, FL). The Eagles record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Cocoa Beach drops to 2-10 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Heritage (Palm Bay, FL) to battle the Panthers in a non-league contest on Wednesday, September 10. The Panthers enter the contest with a record of 3-2. Heritage won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Eau Gallie (Melbourne, FL)
