Ohio High School Volleyball - Monroe overwhelmed by Edgewood

Edgewood Cougars (Trenton, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Monroe Hornets (Monroe, OH), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Edgewood improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Cougars host Bellbrook (Bellbrook, OH) to face the Golden Eagles in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern test on Wednesday, September 10. The Golden Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 4-3. Bellbrook won 3-0 in their recent league challenge against Monroe (Monroe, OH)

Next, the Hornets meet the Talawanda Brave (Oxford, OH) in a Southwestern Buckeye - Southwestern challenge, on Thursday, September 11. Monroe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Brave come into the challenge with a 3-4 record after their 3-0 league loss to Ross (Hamilton, OH).
