California High School Volleyball - San Gabriel over El Rancho
September 9, 2025: Pico Rivera, CA 90660 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the San Gabriel Matadors (San Gabriel, CA) and the host El Rancho Dons (Pico Rivera, CA), observed San Gabriel's volleyball team top El Rancho by a count of 3-0.
The Matadors (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Schurr (Montebello, CA). The Spartans go into the Almont battle with a 4-13 record. In their last battle, Schurr dropped by Santa Fe (Santa Fe Springs, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Dons now own a 4-11 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to La Serna for a Del Rio battle on Thursday, September 11. El Rancho will battle a Lancers team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 12-4.
