September 9, 2025: Alexandria, SD 57311 The Howard Tigers volleyball team (Howard, SD), was knocked off 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league contest with the host Hanson Beavers (Alexandria, SD)
The Beavers (2-4) will now prepare for their contest against Mt. Vernon/Plankinton (Mt. Vernon, SD). The Titans enter the A Region 5 contest with a 1-6 record. In their last contest, Mt. Vernon/Plankinton was knocked off by Ethan (Ethan, SD), 3-2, in a non-league battle.
The Tigers now own a 0-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wessington Springs for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 11. Howard will encounter a Spartans squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Gregory (Gregory, SD). The Spartans record now stands at 5-3.
