Texas High School Volleyball - Marion over Wagner
September 9, 2025: Marion, TX 78124 Fans at Tuesday's non-league contest between the Marion Bulldogs (Marion, TX) and the visiting Wagner Thunderbirds (San Antonio, TX), observed Marion's volleyball team top Wagner by a count of 3-0.
The Bulldogs (16-8) will now prepare for their battle against Long Creek (New Braunfels, TX). The Dragons go into the non-league battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Long Creek dropped by Incarnate Word (San Antonio, TX), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Thunderbirds now own a 1-18 record. They take the field next when they travel to Tivy for a 5A Region IV District 26 contest on Friday, September 12. Wagner will meet a Antlers team coming off a 3-0 league loss to New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX). The Antlers record now stands at 17-12.
