In Tuesday's league challenge, the host North Scott Lancers volleyball team scored a close 3-2 triumph over the Pleasant Valley Spartans.

The Lancers (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Ankeny (Ankeny, IA). The Hawks come into the non-league challenge with a 11-4 record. In their last challenge, Ankeny was nudged by Waukee (Waukee, IA), 3-2, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Spartans meet the Davenport North Wildcats (Davenport, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Pleasant Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record.
