Serena Huskers (Serena, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Plano Reapers (Plano, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Serena improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Huskers host LaMoille/Ohio (LaMoille, IL) to meet the Lions in a Little Ten challenge on Thursday, September 11. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 0-0.

In their next game, the Reapers face the Woodstock Blue Streaks (Woodstock, IL) in a Kishwaukee River test, on Wednesday, September 10. Plano will attempt to advance on its 3-6 season record. The Blue Streaks go into the test with a 4-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Antioch (Antioch, IL).
