With the win, Morrison upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Fulton (Fulton, IL) to encounter the Steamers in a Three Rivers challenge on Monday, April 21. The Steamers come into the challenge with a record of 0-1.

With the defeat, Amboy falls to 0-1 on the season. The Clippers host Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL) to encounter the Rockets in a Three Rivers challenge on Friday, April 18. The Rockets come into the challenge with a record of 6-1.

Morrison Mustangs Varsity blew out Amboy 17-1 on Thursday after pouring on 14 runs in the third inning.

Kollin Burn racked up three RBIs on three hits for Morrison Mustangs Varsity. He doubled in the third inning and singled in the second and third innings.

Bill Lee Greul was in control on the hill. Amboy managed just one hit off of Greul, who allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out nine during his five innings of work.

Jones was the game's losing pitcher. He allowed 12 runs in 2 1/3 innings, walked one and struck out two.
