The team kicked off the first quarter with an explosive 80+ yard touchdown off a pass from Jenelly to Kayla. The Lady SeaDragons held onto the lead until the second quarter, when the Air Force Academy tied the game.

It was a standout performance by Litzy Estrada, who came up big with three crucial interceptions when it mattered most.

By the end of the fourth quarter, the game remained tied, sending it into overtime.

Rickover won the coin toss and took possession with a chance to score and secure the win, but came up short. The defense stepped up, stopping Air Force and forcing a second overtime.

In the second OT, Rickover’s defense couldn’t stop Air Force from scoring. But the Lady SeaDragons kept fighting, answering back and pushing the game into a third overtime.

In the final OT, Sofia connected with Jenelly for a clutch 2-point play, giving Rickover the lead. The defense sealed the deal by shutting down Air Force’s final attempt — sec
