In Monday's league match, the host Conant Cougars softball team scored a nice 15-4 win over the Hoffman Estates Hawks.

The Cougars (6-5) will now prepare for their match against Palatine (Palatine, IL). The Pirates come into the Mid-Suburban West match with a 8-8 record. In their last match, Palatine was routed by Barrington (Barrington, IL), 11-0, in a league match.

In their next game, the Hawks confront the Schaumburg Saxons (Schaumburg, IL) in a Mid-Suburban West match, on Tuesday, April 29. Hoffman Estates will attempt to better on its 1-13 season record. The Saxons come into the match with a 4-9 record after their 11-1 league loss to Fremd (Palatine, IL).
