With the win, Seneca upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Fighting Irish travel to Midland (Varna, IL) to face the Timberwolves in a Tri-County outing on Thursday, September 20. The Comets now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they host Herscher for a Interstate Eight outing on Tuesday, September 18. Reed-Custer will face a Tigers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Danville (Danville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 11-7.






The Lady Comets fell to Seneca for all 3 levels in Monday night's volleyball action. Maggie Meyr, Ashleigh Coster, and Shae Ruzich put up 3 kills each while Meyr and Coster also added 3 digs each. Maddi Tiangco led defensively with 8 digs. Sophomore setter, Danielle Cherry, helped with 6 digs of her own, 13 assists along with 1 kill and ace each.
