Indiana recruit leaps and robs a home run

As of 2014, this will be the 62nd match up between Evansville's two west side schools dating all the way back to 1952. The West Side Nut Club trophy is on the line as they continue their heated rivalry at the Reitz Bowl. The rivalry grows in intensity and this is the game fans look forward to each year. Usually, city and conference titles, and much more are on the line for these games. Thousands, upon thousands of fans pack the Bowl to witness this greatness. Even if both teams enter the game with zero wins, if their team wins, the fans will consider it a successful season. This is more than a football game to these teams and their fans, this is for west side bragging rights. Football usually gets the most focus because the teams measure up well, and both their fans are rabid. This game is a must win in the minds of fans. Located only a mile and a half away from each other , the bloodlines run deep, and whichever school you attend, you are either a Panther or a Wildcat for life.
