In Saturday's non-league outing, the Manila Mustangs (Manila, UT) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Rangely Panthers (Rangely, CO), by a count of 61-39.

The Mustangs (8-3) will now prepare for their outing against Rich (Randolph, UT). The Rebels go into the 1A Region 16 outing with a 7-5 record.

The Panthers now hold a 5-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Park for a 2A/1A Western Slope outing on Friday, January 23. Rangely will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 63-27 league loss to Plateau Valley (Collbran, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-9.
