The Jackson County Generals basketball team scored 55 points and restricted the visiting Berea Pirates to 54 in the Generals non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Generals now sport a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Whitley County for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 10. Jackson County will play a Colonels squad coming off a 72-66 league win over Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 8-7.
Next up, the Pirates play the Model Patriots (Richmond, KY) in a District 44 bout, on Friday, January 9. Berea will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-11 record after their 56-51 non-league loss to Nicholas County (Carlisle, KY).
