In Friday's league game, the host Dodson Panthers baseball team scored a tight 6-2 victory over the Quitman Wolverines.
The Panthers (3-8) will now prepare for their game against Homer (Homer, LA). The Pelicans go into the non-league game with a 3-9 record. In their last game, Homer tipped Dubach (Dubach, LA), 8-6, in a non-league game.
