Louisiana High School Baseball - West Monroe can't hold off Ruston
In Saturday's league game, the host Ruston Bearcats baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the West Monroe Rebels.
The Bearcats (17-6) will now prepare for their game against Natchitoches Central (Natchitoches, LA). The Chiefs go into the 5A District 2 game with a 8-17 record. In their last game, Natchitoches Central was edged by Minden (Minden, LA), 10-8, in a non-league contest.
The Rebels now sport a 13-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Benton for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 17.
