The Evans Eagles were winner over the visiting Starks Panthers basketball team by a tally of 57-37 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 13-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hicks for a non-league battle on Friday, January 7. Evans will meet a Pirates team coming off a 87-19 non-league loss to Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Pirates record now stands at 1-15.
The Panthers (4-15) will now prepare for their battle against Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA). The Hornets come into the non-league battle with a 10-12 record.
