Louisiana High School Basketball - Georgetown knocked off by Hicks
The Hicks Pirates basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs to 55 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Pirates now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Simpson for a non-league contest on Friday, December 4. Hicks will battle a Broncos team coming off a 58-40 non-league win over Pitkin (Pitkin, LA). The Broncos record now stands at 9-1.
The Bulldogs (1-7) will now prepare for their contest against LaSalle (Olla, LA). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, LaSalle ran past Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, LA), 36-35, in a non-league contest.
