The Sterlington Panthers (Sterlington, LA) softball routed the visiting Rapides Mustangs (Lecompte, LA), 11-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Panthers (26-4) will now prepare for their bout against Jena (Jena, LA). The Giants go into the non-league bout with a 16-7 record. In their last bout, Jena notched a victory over Franklin Parish (Winnsboro, LA), 8-4, in a non-league bout.
The Mustangs now possess a 15-8 record. They play next when they travel to Tioga for a non-league bout on Monday, April 9.
