The St. John Paul II Catholic Lions flag football team (Avondale, AZ), was nudged 7-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Arete Prep CHARGERS (Gilbert, AZ)

The CHARGERS (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Horizon Honors (Phoenix, AZ). The Eagles go into the non-league bout with a 1-0 record. In their last bout, Horizon Honors nudged Kingman (Kingman, AZ), 13-0, in a non-league bout.
