Texas High School Baseball - La Marque can't hold off Wharton
March 19, 2019: Wharton, TX 77488 In Tuesday's non-league game, the host Wharton Tigers baseball team scored a tight 12-11 victory over the La Marque Cougars.
The Tigers (4-3) will now prepare for their game against El Campo (El Campo, TX). The Ricebirds go into the 4A Region IV District 25 game with a 11-5 record. In their last game, El Campo was edged by Sealy (Sealy, TX), 8-3, in a league game.
The Cougars (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Brazosport (Freeport, TX). The Exporters go into the 4A Region III District 24 game with a 2-11 record.
