The Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) basketball nipped the visiting Deer Valley Skyhawks (Glendale, AZ), 72-70 in Friday's league test.

The Cobras (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Agua Fria (Avondale, AZ). The Owls go into the 4A West Valley test with a 8-15 record. In their last test, Agua Fria was tipped by Peoria (Peoria, AZ), 65-59, in a league test.
