The Muscle Shoals Trojans (Muscle Shoals, AL) football defeated the host Bob Jones Patriots (Madison, AL), 46-19 in Friday's non-league bout.

In their next game, the Trojans face the Columbia Eagles (Huntsville, AL) in a 6A Region 7 bout, on Friday, September 6. Muscle Shoals will attempt to better on its 2-0 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 0-2 record after their 61-0 non-league loss to Albertville (Albertville, AL).

The Patriots now sport a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they host James Clemens for a 7A Region 4 game on Friday, September 6. Bob Jones will meet a Jets team coming off a 38-37 non-league loss to Clay-Chalkville (Pinson, AL). The Jets record now stands at 0-2.
