The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions baseball team (Glendale, AZ), was overwhelmed 8-3 in Saturday's non-league outing with the visiting Liberty Lions (Peoria, AZ)

The Lions now hold a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Desert Vista for a non-league outing on Tuesday, March 5. Liberty will confront a Thunder team coming off a 16-1 non-league win over Boulder Creek (Anthem, AZ). The Thunder record now stands at 5-2.

Next, the Mountain Lions confront the Kofa Kings (Yuma, AZ) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 2. Mountain Ridge will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Kings go into the outing with a 2-5 record after their 11-5 non-league loss to Stony Brook (Stony Brook, NY).
