New York High School Football - Canisius topples St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute
September 20, 2013: Buffalo, NY 14209 The Canisius Crusaders (Buffalo, NY) football defeated the visiting St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders (Buffalo, NY), 32-6 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Crusaders face the St. Francis Red Raiders (Athol Springs, NY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, September 28. Canisius will attempt to advance on its 2-0 season record.
The Marauders (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Aquinas Institute (Rochester, NY). The Little Irish enter the non-league bout with a 1-1 record. In their last bout, Aquinas Institute lost by Canisius (Buffalo, NY), 8-7, in a non-league bout.
