Todd County Falcons (Mission, SD) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Crow Creek Chieftains (Stephan, SD), 62-58 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Todd County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Red Cloud (Pine Ridge, SD) to play the Crusaders in a A Region 7 bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 5-0. Red Cloud won 45-38 in their recent non-league bout against Lakota Tech (Pine Ridge, SD)

Next up, the Chieftains play the McLaughlin Mustangs (McLaughlin, SD) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 6. Crow Creek will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record.
